Getting Cultured

After several years I was finally able to say that I've seen Lion King on stage.  The music was bopping, the costumes were sleek, and the kid who played Simba jumped around like he was having seizures.  Good show.  8 out of 10.

Cirque was a 10 out of 10.  There was so much going on, I couldn't look at it all.  One of my favorite parts was that it starred the greatest Little People performers I've ever seen.  They're a married couple (see photos) and bended and flexed in ways I never thought lps could.  Consequently, I found myself getting sort of emotional.  The lady was graceful and the man was strong, and both were of course, adorable, and just as part of the cast as the rest of them.  Spectacular.  The whole show was astonishing.  Amusing.  Amazing.  You get it.  Go see it.
